Love Others, Guide Others, Heal Yourself

When did human nature become a bad thing?

We live in a world today of which patterns have been programmed into our beings. These programs are like code, computing against one another based on contradictions and problematic solving through theory, instead of genuine connection. We spend so much energy worrying about what we can’t control. We’re told the world is ending—but the world has been “ending” since the beginning of “our time”. Our species loves to overcomplicate things.

We get lost debating conspiracies, theories, politics, religion, etc. What good does knowing about it do? IF we gain knowledge we aren’t ready to receive, chances are we’d just mess that up as well.

I’ve learned to cut through the low-level frequency hum by focusing on what I can control. Love, guiding, and healing myself. These are three single notes, yet together they form a beautiful chord. Each they’re own principals, they’re own paths on this journey, and yet that all lead back to the same place—myself.

I have had many great mentors in my life, some alive, some I never met in flesh, however their idea of consciousness, awareness and the actions al point to the same truth. The desire to do better, be better and know better starts within.

This is the essence of healing yourself. It’s about taking control of the one thing you truly have power over: your own actions and perspective. For me, that power comes from ceremony, culture, songs, music, and traditions. It’s how I take the ugly parts of my own story and find the beauty. It’s how I offer guidance, not by having all the answers, but by sharing my journey.

A few years back I was on a spiritual hike which is named the Juan de Fuca trail.

A message followed me. Not as a thought, but as a rhythm. The crash and pull of the tide on the Juan de Fuca trail spoke clearly and repetitively for hours. A voice from the Great Spirit, the Divine, whispering…

Love Others.
Guide Others.
Help Others.

I carried these words everywhere. Love… was a clear action. Guide… was an intentional path.

But Help…
Help was a blur. A redundancy. A question. A puzzle with a missing piece, sitting unresolved within me. For we cannot help others if they do not want to help themselves. And then, recently, the Spirit spoke again.

Not a new message, but the missing piece.
The key to unlock it all.

It said: “Heal Yourself.”

And in that moment, a profound clarity. We don’t do help as a task on a list. True help is not an action we perform. It is a result. A ripple effect. The natural consequence of our own inner work.

You commit to the difficult, beautiful process of healing. You face the ugly parts to find the beauty. And in doing so, you become a source of help. Gifts from suffering. Your healing becomes a light. A permission slip for others to begin their own journey.

This is how we cut through the noise of the world. It all flows from one sacred, foundational act.

You heal yourself first.

And in that process of loving and guiding others, we find the path back to our own healing. Human nature isn’t a bad thing. It’s the most powerful tool we have the moment we stop overcomplicating and start creating.

I was gifted my first song at that time. The Journey song. It was grew louder and louder. So loud until I spoke out loud, “I need to sing this” or it won’t get out of my head.

I was ready to receive, and when I receive through pure intention, the world opens it’s arms for me to perpetuate the gift back onto others.

Thank you
